Private Media Control
Set selected photos and videos as private, then choose who gets access when you are ready. You can approve or revoke private media access, send disappearing photos and videos, and stay in control of what you share inside chats.
App Privacy
Use App Lock with Face ID or biometric authentication to keep the app secure on your device, and screenshot blocking helps protect discretion inside the app for everyone. Advanced privacy features such as Incognito Mode, further notification controls, and discreet app icon options are also available, depending on your account type and feature access. Together, these help MatchCatch feel more private on your device and in everyday use.
Activity Visibility
Manage visibility signals such as online status, profile views, favourites, and last active, deciding when to be seen and when to stay more discreet. Full access to these controls depends on your account type and feature access.
Location & Contacts
MatchCatch does not require location permissions or collect live location data to decide where you appear. Your profile location is set by you and can be adjusted anytime, and Discover is organised around the location you choose rather than continuous device tracking. MatchCatch also never asks for access to your phone contacts, so your dating life stays separate from your personal and professional circles, by design.
Trust & Safety
Women complete face verification before they can appear on Discover or interact on MatchCatch. Men need active Membership to send and read messages, which helps reduce spam, fake activity, and low-effort outreach. Additional checks, reporting, blocking, and device-level protections help support a safer and more respectful community.
Data Protection
MatchCatch does not run in-app ads or sell user data. As an app-only experience using OTP-based sign-in instead of traditional passwords, MatchCatch can support stronger privacy, security, and account controls. Chat messages are protected with server-side encryption, and photos, videos, disappearing media, and voice recordings shared or viewed on MatchCatch cannot be saved or downloaded from within the app.
